**Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications and drawings.
- Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and join materials.
- Perform welding tasks using stick welding techniques to ensure strong joints.
- Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.
- Utilise basic maths skills to measure and calculate dimensions accurately.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in fabrication and welding.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment.
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques, particularly stick welding.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints effectively.
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- A commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £41,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
