Are you interested in being part of a bilingual (BSL/English) and bicultural York outreach team? This team will offer specialist assessments, compile reports and provide feedback to young deaf people, their families and referrers and, where possible, offer sign posting to services to support the recommendations / suggested therapeutic intervention(s).

**This role focuses on a pilot service**: The 18-25 Deaf Mental Health Assessment Service (18-25 DMHAS), targeting young deaf adults within the Yorkshire & Humber area. The 24-month pilot aims to assess demand, address service gaps, and inform future commissioning.

This service will work within the established National Deaf CAMHS (Northern Arm) which serves the North of England with outreach teams in York, Newcastle, and Manchester.

Be part of the bilingual (BSL/English) and bicultural York outreach team. Co work with team members to carry out specialist assessments, write reports and provide feedback and recommendations to young people, their families and referrers. Signpost to services currently available to this cohort of individuals. Attend clinical and managerial supervision as well as team meetings. Attend any training necessary to carry out this role including a BSL course (if not fluent). Use the electronic recording system to record comprehensive clinical notes and collect evidence to inform future commissioning.
