In the role of Technical SEO Apprentice, you will be supporting our SEO team to monitor performance, deliver reporting requirements aligned to client demands, and implementing SEO tactics.

Proactive with a desire to learn and passion to grow, you will develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders delivering industry leading insights, analysis and ensuring SEO bestpractices are created, tested and put into practice.

The role requires you to have a keen interest in numbers and data analysis and requires a keen eye for detail.

**Responsibilities**:

- Proactively attend and absorb training sessions to ensure base level understanding of core responsibilities, working with Performance Strategy Director
- Monitor and analyse organic search performance data, identifying issues and opportunities relevant to client objectives
- Conducting research into competitor activity and trending insights, utilising industry tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Search Console, and Keyword Planner
- Keeping abreast of the latest search engine guidelines, news, trends, techniques and technologies to ensure on-going SEO best practice at Green Ginger Digital
- Understand trends and identify anomalies in data, escalating to the wider team in a timely manner
- Understand and implement technical SEO audits and changes
- Execute on-page optimisations
- Implement changes in content management systems e.g., WordPress, WooCommerce
- Support wider team with performance communication with confidence in both written and verbal communication
- Begin to understand client utilisation against commercials, working with Client Services Director
- Support with client monthly performance reporting using accurate analysis and strong data visualisation
- Support wider team with creation and amendments of Looker Studio reports to support with accurate data analysis

**Requirements**:

- A 6 or higher equivalent in GCSE maths with a keen interest in data
- An analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail, able to articulate changes in data
- Computer literate, able to learn new platforms and technologies quickly with guidance
- Organised and able to work to deadlines
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- A proactive, forward thinker, not afraid to share ideas and think differently
