**Welfare Officer (First Aider) Needed - Immediate Start**

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Welfare Officer to join our team as a First Aider, starting immediately. This crucial role supports the physical and mental wellbeing of students, ensuring they receive timely medical attention and support within the school environment.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Providing first aid to students, staff, and visitors
- Managing and administering prescribed medicines to pupils
- Supporting students and families with physical and mental health concerns
- Liaising with external medical services when necessary
- Maintaining first aid records and accident reports
- Ensuring the First Aid Room and medical supplies are well-stocked and organized
- Participating in health promotion activities and supporting school health projects

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- First Aid certification (essential)
- Experience working with young people and/or in a healthcare setting (desirable)
- Strong communication and organizational skills

**Salary**: £27,941 - £29,251 (pro-rata, term-time only) **Hours**: 37.5 hours per week (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) **Contract**: Temporary with the potential to become permanent

Pay: £27,941.00-£29,251.00 per year
