Facilities Assistant

**Overview**
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of facility equipment, including electrical systems and logic controllers.
- Supervise and coordinate with external contractors for specialised maintenance tasks.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs and installations.
- Perform routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to support facility operations and improvements.
- Conduct welding tasks as required for repairs or modifications.
**Qualifications**:
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication.
- Previous experience in a facilities management or maintenance role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including logic controllers, is highly desirable.
- Leadership skills to supervise contractors and coordinate tasks efficiently.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for equipment maintenance and installation.
- A customer service-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in supervising teams or projects is an advantage.
