**Equans is looking for a Mobile Plumber to join our team working across Birmingham. This is a permanent full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week on a two week rotation basis. Week 1, Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm & Week 2, Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm. On offer is a salary banding of £34,000 - £36,000 per annum dependent upon skills and experience, company vehicle and a benefits package. There is also an on-call rota and overtime available.**

**WHAT WILL YOU DELIVER?**
- Carry out planned preventable maintenance (PPM) on plumbing, and all water systems; plant and equipment in accordance with the PPM programme
- Respond in a timely manner to breakdown requests
- Be proactive in reporting faults to equipment, buildings and fittings
- Assist with installation works involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works
- Work in accordance with Work Instructions, Safe Working Practices and Method Statements ensuring relevant paperwork is completed in an accurate timely manner
- Safely operate all types of access equipment, hand and power tools in accordance with health & safety and manufacturers’ guidelines
- Ensure the correct use of personal protective equipment and adherence to health & safety and infection control procedures
- Carry out on call duties as part of a rota
- Respond in a safe manner to the effects of bad weather, e.g. snow clearing, gritting, flooding, high winds where required etc.

**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- Recognised apprenticeship in relevant engineering discipline
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing and Heating
- Legionella awareness
- Previously worked within a maintenance environment, ideally Childcare
- Effective communication skills as you will be working in operational sites, where your awareness will be tested
- Experience in water hygiene/legionella management activities
- Prepared to work out of hours as necessary
- Prepared to travel to other sites within the Company
- Possess a current valid driving licence
