**Job Overview**:
In this critical role, you will lead the Court of Protection & Private Client team ensuring excellent client service alongside meeting all performance targets. You’ll be providing inspirational leadership, while directly managing the operational needs of the department with the support of the cost and finances team. A significant part of your role will involve coaching, developing, and supporting managers to facilitate excellent people leadership.
- As the Head of Court of Protection, you will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and expertise to our team. You will oversee complex cases, ensure compliance with legal regulations, and drive the strategic growth of the department._

**Duties**:

- Provide supervision, advice, and guidance on all technical and professional matters related to the Court of Protection.
- Champion best practices and standards, ensuring adherence to all relevant criteria through regular file reviews and effective supervision.
- Cultivate relationships to support strategic growth objectives and expand our Court of Protection department.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business strategies aimed at increasing revenue streams.
- Meet billing targets while maintaining key performance indicators.
- Generate reports on case holdings, turnover, billing, and client satisfaction.
- Deliver legal training to team members and maintain a repository of template documents.
- Contribute to maintaining quality standards and accreditation requirements.
- Conduct performance appraisals, identify training needs, and drive continuous improvement within the department.
