**What you’ll do**

Your key accountabilities will include
- Work alongside the Design team to deliver the print design & direction across the Homeware Business Unit. Assist the Designers in Tech pack creation, design boards, design publications and design DPS presentations.
- Research print & global retail trends - identify and communicate key opportunities. Respond to evolving trends to ensure the print offer looks modern and stylish for the M&S customer, whilst offering confident key print looks across all departments.
- Create & develop prints into repeat and scale to be production ready. Work hand in hand with product designers to ensure prints meet aesthetic requirements, whilst considering scale, fabric substrate and price point.
- Work with the Designers to meet critical path deadlines and deliver the right designs, at the right time. Support the Designers with the co-ordination of day to day activities.
- Begin to take the initiative to own a print type under the Designers direction.

**Who you are**

Your skills and experience will include
- Expert in the field of print design with design experience within the Retail industry (ideally within homeware)
- Strong design and CAD skills with an eye for detail
- Knowledge of trend interpretation, current competitive marketplace and product design
- Experience in Direct Design sourced product, working with Technology/Design and Buying to create high standards of CAD and Tech Packs via PLM
- High level of proficiency in Design related CAD software to include Illustrator, Photoshop and In Design
- Multi task orientated with the ability to work to tight deadlines to the critical path
