OverviewWe are looking for a Print Designer to assist our wider print team in developing our Hobbs print range from concept stage to production.Our Design team are at the core of our business, creating the mood, colour palette, prints and key shapes of our collection each season that offer our Hobbs customer a point of difference. Working closely with the buying team to develop new product ranges seasonally, our designers ensure the balance of commerciality and fashion is met – the team keep abreast of the key global trends and anticipate those which are relevant to our Hobbs customer.The Print Designer will assist the Print Design Manager and wider Print team to build a cohesive handwriting for our seasonal prints by creating hand drawn and painted artworks and managing the associated admin.Key accountabilitiesResearch and forecast print trends relevant to our Hobbs customer to create seasonal mood boards and colour palettes.Develop and refine original artworks using both hand-drawing and digital skills.Collaborating closely with the wider design team to ensure our prints align with our brand's vision.Managing the end-to-end design process, from sending out print packs and colour standards to suppliers to ensuring all prints are delivered on time and within budget.Visiting stores and attending shows to gather inspiration and valuable customer feedback.Who You\'ll BeWe\'re looking for a skilled Print Designer who is also a creative problem-solver. To thrive in this role, you\'ll be able to showcase :Experience within print designHighly skilled in hand drawing and painting with an exceptional eye for detail.Knowledgeable about print production within the fashion / retail space, including how to prepare files for both screen and digital printing.Be proactive and collaborative when working within a team dynamic, eager to contribute to our Hobbs brand creative vision.A strong understanding of the fashion / retail market within print design, with an eye on both aspirational and competitive brands.Print design experience within Ready to Wear is a plusWhat\'s in it for you?Across the TFG Brands, we pride ourselves on having our people at the heart of everything we do.
