We are looking for a Customer Service and Administration Representative to join our team on an 18-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative or customer service experience to gain valuable exposure within the insurance sector.

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide first-line telephone support to clients
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable insurance products or services
- Prioritise and manage new enquiries within strict service level agreements
- Handle policy renewals and mid-term adjustments
- Carry out post-completion administrative duties
- Process payments and manage invoicing
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain high service standards

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Previous experience in customer service or administration (insurance experience preferred but not essential)
- Clear and professional telephone manner
- Ability to understand and explain policy details confidently
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- GCSEs in English and Maths (essential)
- A calm, flexible, and team-oriented approach under pressure

**Job Details**:

- **Contract Type**: 18-month fixed-term maternity cover
- **Hours**: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (35 hours per week)
- **Salary**: Up to £23,000 per year (dependent on experience)
- **Location**: Office-based in Ashton-Under-Lyne
- **Start Date**: ASAP

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: Up to £23,000.00 per year
