**Responsibilities**
- Lead and motivate a team to deliver exceptional care tailored to individual needs.
- Develop and oversee care plans ensuring they meet regulatory standards and personal preferences.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment that promotes independence and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support staff development through training and supervision.
- Manage daily operations within the residential setting.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and best practice.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children or vulnerable adults in a care setting.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Valid driving license is preferred for transportation duties.
- Knowledge of IT systems relevant to care management.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in a residential or care environment.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting independence.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs of the service.

**Care Services**:

- Assist in the development of the philosophy, goals and objectives for the care practice.
- Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of care implementation and delivery
- Implement action to meet and maintain care standards.
- Work in cooperation with members of multidisciplinary health teams in order to maximise opportunities for Service User therapeutic care.
- Ensure Service User rights are protected.
- Encourage a model of self-care and Service User rehabilitation.
- Record relevant activities in Care Plans.
- Evaluate standards of care competence.
- Any other requirements suitable to the role

**Human Resources**:

- Cooperate with the implementation, evaluation, orientation and induction of all new employees.
- Support the implementation of Cascade’s policies and procedures.
- Support the effective resolution of team conflicts.

- Qualifications Required

**Working within the organisation**:

- Develop effective working relationships with the other employees within Cascade.
- Support an open, positive and inclusive working culture.
- Participate in the development of Cascade’s policies.
- Participate in the evaluation of Cascade against agreed organisational goals, business, and quality objectives.
- Work to establish effective employer-employee relationships.
- Minimise legal risks.
- Participate in the maintenance of Cascade’s management information systems.
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of care policies and procedures.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the standards required by legislation related to the registration of Cascade. (CQC)
- Act within Cascade’s budget based on Cascade’s objectives and within the projected revenue.
- Work in a cost-effective manner.
- Be involved in the implementation and maintenance of Cascade’s quality assurance programme.
- Assist in the design and administration of an evaluation of the care standards and care service provision.
- Systematically solve day-to-day problematic issues which arise.

**Qualifications Required**
- Skills for Care - Care Certificate
- Working towards or qualified to Level 3 or Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care.
- UK Driving Licence (required)
