**Location: Central London**
**Rate of pay: £11.05 per hour**
**Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday**

Key responsibilities and accountabilities
**Food Service**
- Prepare and serve all beverages in a timely manner and to the CH&CO standard
- To prepare service counters as required for service in line with CH&CO standards and to ensure the availability of product during all service periods
- To ensure that service counters and dining areas display appropriate merchandising under the guidance of the General Manager and ensure that all products are correctly priced, labelled and in date
- Assist in the preparation of tables and to ensure all cutlery and glassware is polished
- Keep the service areas clean, tidy and presentable in line with the CH&CO standards
- Clean and wash up equipment, kitchen and service areas as necessary to comply with cleaning schedules
**Customer service**
- Present and maintain a professional and friendly image with the client and customers at all times
- Attend to customer needs in a polite and helpful manner providing assistance where necessary in line with the CH&CO style
- Provide information to customers about the food in a knowledgeable and informed manner
- Work with all colleagues in a polite and helpful way to ensure excellent customer service
- To accurately and efficiently handle all transactions and to assist with cashing up procedures in line with CH&CO standards
- To take responsibility for all monies in the till and to keep all monies and secure.Health & Safety
- To understand and comply with CH&CO and statutory health, hygiene and safety, quality standards including COSHH and HACCP ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance these standards and to work in a safe and tidy manner at all times
- Wear the correct uniform and safety shoes as directed and maintain uniform items appropriately
- Report any equipment and/or building fabric faults and any hygiene, health and safety hazard to the General Manager.
**Occasional Responsibilities**
- Assist in stock take as directed
- To attend training courses and attend CH&CO meetings when necessary
