**Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellent service will ensure that each customer has a delightful experience.
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and serving areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and offering recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food preparation or as a Barista is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Strong basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with a passion for customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
