You'll be working for **Jewson in Letchworth**. Jewson is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK and we pride ourselves on doing everything we can to understand our Customer's needs in order to deliver solutions to save themtime, money and hassle. **Is this role right for me?**

Experience within our industry is not essential, we are committed to providing you with the full tools and support required to carry out your role within Jewson.
- A keen interest in DIY or working with various tools at home on projects.
- Customer Service experience
- Experience repairing and maintaining tools in branch
- A full, clean driving license is needed

**What will I be doing?**

A Tool Hire Assistant will be in regular contact with our Customers and therefore play a huge part in delivering a fantastic customer experience. In order to support our customers and deliver a great service you will;
- Develop great relationships with new and existing Customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions.
- Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of our tool hire equipment in the workshop
- Use our in-house systems to process customer orders
- Organise tool hire delivery and collection whilst keeping customers updated throughout their journey
- Attach trailers and tow equipment to sites (Will be trained)
- Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

**Hours-07:30-17:00 Monday-Friday and 08:00-12:00 every 2nd Saturday**
