**Purpose of the post**:
To support the Head of Finance and Business to ensure all business and school administrative functions are performed timely and efficiently and be willing to undertake further learning and development relating to the role. We are looking for someone who ideally has already achieved a minimum of level 2 in Business Administration or any other finance related qualification.
**Responsibilities of the post**:
- **Business Admin**: Carry out administrative tasks related to company compliance, (on which full training will be given). For example, completing annual renewals or returns for ICO, Company Insurances and Companies House. Support the administrative function of maintaining up to date company policies, annual renewals and website compliance.
- Provide contracts and funding administrative support which will include data checking, photocopying and scanning paperwork, data entry and record keeping, preparing contract paperwork packs, filing and organising files both paper and digitally.
- Possess an excellent standard of English and Maths.
- **Finance**: Carry out data entry of income and expenditure using online software (QuickBooks). Accurately log and file receipts. Contribute to the monitoring of data trends and forecasting.
- Attend weekly petty cash meeting via Teams with school administrators, review and check spend, ensure the petty cash logs have been completed correctly, discuss and agree requested petty cash funds, weekly data entry of expenditure onto QuickBooks and filing of receipts submitted.
- Support with financial reporting relating to contracts and funding, collate evidence and, recording spend and reporting on monitoring paperwork.
- **Organisation**: Maintain efficient and effective record keeping and filing, both paper-based and digitally. Possess excellent organisational and time management skills, being able to manage workload and be able to work to deadlines.
- **Project Management**: Provide administrative support with fundraising projects, including financial record keeping, evidencing income and expenditure, working collaboratively to record participant data, marketing, collating and filing compliance paperwork. Produce feedback, contribute to case studies, social accounting and data analysis reporting.
- **Procurement**: Support with researching best value for annual renewals, dues and subscriptions, contracted services, resource platforms etc.
- **Resource Management**: Responsible for monitoring and approving spend in line with agreed budgets and discussing with budget holders if needed. Ordering of resources and consumables, managing monthly stationery and supplies orders, researching best value of products when required.
- **Wider School**: Provide general admin support to wider Head Office core services team.
**General Duties**:
- Support, uphold and contribute to the development of ES policies and procedures.
- Manage your online calendar and ensure important deadlines are met, seeking support where required.
- Commitment to your own continuous professional development (CPD).
- Take an active part in appraising own work as part of the annual appraisal process.
- Attend company training days, team building, INSET Days and meetings as required.
- Be willing to travel sporadically between sites.
- Attend ES Team Awards ceremony held annually each December.
- Access 1:1 coaching and support from your line manager.

- Other reasonable duties may be allocated from time to time commensurate with the general character of the post and its grading.
