**RESTRUCTURING LAWYER- 0-2 - GLASGOW** **Brief** We are looking to recruit a Newly Qualified Restructuring Lawyer to join our Glasgow office. **Background** Our market-leading Restructuring team, part of our Banking and Finance group, advises on all aspects of restructuring and insolvency.We act for all major clearing banks and advise those banks as well as non-bank lenders, funds, turnaround and insolvencypractitioners, company directors, shareholders and other stakeholders on strategies for company recovery and turnaround. The team is involved in complex, high value restructurings at an early stage in the financial decline curve, with the aim of providing innovative solutions which improve returns to stakeholders, minimise risk and, in many cases, avoid an insolvency processaltogether.We have a reputation for our contentious practice too, having been instructed on a number of high profile assignments, where we investigate causes of company failure and pursue claims against those responsible.Members of the team are recognisedspecialists for dealing with assignments in the professional practices, charity and construction sectors having worked on a number of high profile engagements. The team is also regularly engaged in the sale and purchase of loan portfolios in the UK and Europe, as well as on other large-scale due diligence and remediation exercises. Operating across the UK and beyond, the team has ten partners and a team of thirty lawyers making it one of the largest teams of any national practice.
