**About the role**

You will be working as part of the MI and Contracts team to support the successful delivery of the Innovation UK Business Growth service, supporting the overall delivery of the IUK Business Growth contracts through coordination of relevant processes and administration with internal and external colleagues, delivery teams, external suppliers, partners and stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinate with the directorate on activities relating to purchase order requisitions, invoicing and queries as required for IUK Business growth contract activities.
- Support the booking of travel, accommodation, meeting rooms etc., on behalf of the IUK team.
- Coordinate the Innovation directorate’s external and internal events, implementing the agreed events process actions, e.g. organising internal and external meetings, communication with venues, booking delegates.
- Support with activities relating to contracts, claims, forecasts, budgets as required.
- Support with activities relating to the Business Management Systems process, compliance and implementation.
- Undertake work to continually improve internal processes and systems.

**About you**

We are looking for a team player with good interpersonal skills and an administration or projects background, who can demonstrate being highly organised with the ability to prioritise their own workload and meet multi project deadlines.

In addition, you will:

- Experience of working in a customer-facing role, preferably with SMEs.
- Experience of general monitoring and project management systems.
- Experience of working with databases and maintaining accurate customer information on CRM systems and IT literate with experience of MS Office
- Ability to identify and solve problems
