We all work together to be our customers’ most valued and trusted business partner. **Our Corby depot are currently looking for a talented Warehouse Shift Manager to join the team.** **???????What you will be doing**: - Health & Safety legal obligations - adherence to Company policies and procedures and ensure Group H&S policy is implemented and adhered to - Day-to-day team management to ensure operational objectives are met in line with key KPI’s such as productivity, picking accuracy and inventory control - Input to warehouse cost budgeting process - Use continuous improvement methodologies to evolve the process and procedures - Colleague recruitment and retention - recruit, coach and develop colleagues & team leaders (FTE & Agency) - Manage employee relations cases in line with Company policies and procedures such as investigations, disciplinaries and absence management - Contribution to overall high levels of customer service - Drive good stock management practices - Form strong and effective working relationships with peers, colleagues, suppliers and customers at all levels **What we are looking for**: - Experience of managing teams within a fast-moving warehouse operation - A Health & Safety focus to promote an efficient, clean and safe working environment and culture - Strong commercial, analytical and communication skills - Good judgment in decision-making - ability to take responsibility for decisions and articulate reasons for decisions made in a transparent way whilst dealing with challenge effectively - We are looking for somebody who can act as a role model for the Company values, with a desire to assume responsibility and accountability in all relevant areas - Experience in influencing colleagues at all levels whilst actively seeking and achieving engagement in the end goal - Experience in employee relations case management - Exposure to high volume, high pressure environment with a resilient attitude and a determination to succeed - The ability to empower individuals and teams to act on customer feedback and insight. - You’ll live and breathe Customer First, and you’ll enjoy working as part of a bigger team with a dedicated focus on results. - Resilience - able to stay positive in difficult situations and you will naturally embrace an inclusive working environment and be committed to doing the right thing. ???**What we can give you in return**: - A competitive salary - Heavily discounted quality food, hotels and restaurants - Generous annual leave with option to buy more
