Based in Hove, (although mainly home based working) this established Motor Insurance provider is looking to recruit an experienced Fraud Claims Team Leader to supervise the Counter Fraud Operations team comprising of Investigators and the Claims IntelligenceResearcher. This requires the ability to authorise investigative decisions and oversee investigation strategies. You will naturally have a commitment to want to achieve and continually support and encourage the team to exceed targets. With an inquisitive mindand an ability to creatively problem solve you will approach claims logically to determine key issues and strategies. You will require a passion for fraud identification combined with a strong desire to combat Motor Insurance Fraud.

**Key Duties**
- Continually develop team member’s skills and personal development through documented coaching and mentoring to ensure a career path and colleague retention.
- To monitor the team on a daily basis to ensure SLAs are met
- Manage day to day operation of team dealing with resource planning.
- Assist with the selection and recruitment of staff.
- Ensure that company policies and regulatory requirements are adhered to by all team members to ensure business compliance and minimise risk.
- Stay up to date with new products and processes
- Handle a small allocation of vehicle theft and fraud claims.
- Authorise cheque/BACS payments and system reserves.
- Oversee investigative strategies by authorising decision logs and case strategies.
- Allocate suspect fraud and vehicle theft claims to team for investigation.
- Manage fraud and vehicle theft M.I. and KCASL Desktop Investigation Service M.I.
- Identify and report to the Head of Fraud any potential case for submission to Law Enforcement. Identify and report any potential case for submission and/or alert to the Insurance Fraud Bureau. Attend industry seminars and forums where applicable and relevant.

**About You**
- Good working knowledge of relevant legislation such as Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA), Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act (CPIA), Data Protection Act, Human Rights Act, Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE).
- Good working knowledge and understanding of the National Intelligence Model (NIM).
- Good working ability with PC software packages Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent eye for detail and ability to accurately analyse and recognise potential fraud trends and/or fraud indicators.
- In depth knowledge of the Civil and Criminal courts process.
- Ability to lead a team.
