**The Company;**
We are delighted to have been appointed exclusively by prestigious software organisation Sage UK Ltd, in their search for a People Services Specialist.This opportunity is available on a fixed term contract for 6 months (secondment).
**The Role;**
Reporting into the People Services Manager, the People Services Specialist delivers an excellent customer service to both internal customers (colleagues), People team colleagues, and external partners for all aspects of the people life cycle.
Key responsibilities include:

- Being the first point of contact for colleague and Managers, supporting with queries relating to new hires, onboarding, HR change requests, reward and benefits and general HR related queries
- Actioning queries received via the IT ticket system, Live Chat and Teams, and transferring queries to the appropriate team as required
- Acting as a custodian of colleague data, keeping data clean by ensuring the HRIS is up to date
- Working collaboratively with Payroll to ensure the required changes and inputs, leading to a smooth monthly pay run
- Offering basic advice and guidance to colleagues and line management on a range of colleague issues using company policies and procedures
- Liaising with HRIS on system improvements

This role offers flexible working, with 2 days in the office and 3 days at home.
**The Person;**
- Experience in the fundamentals of HR practice, confident in dealing with core issues
- Excellent planning and organising skills and able to work in a fast paced environment, prioritising effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to the audience
- The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at any level by building trust and delivering a customer service that is acknowledged as high quality
- Excellent attention to detail with the confidence to challenge errors and action accordingly
- The ability to troubleshoot queries using a range of sources of information to resolve
