Performance Marketing Manager

**The Opportunity**:
You will play a central role in managing Carpetright’s PPC (Google, Bing) and paid social (FB, IG, Pinterest) acquisition campaigns within our new in-house paid digital team. Your primary focus will be on maximising ROAS from our acquisition investments,but there is also opportunity to support on brand-led campaigns on digital broadcast platforms (DAX, Spotify, YouTube) and social in collaboration with our brand team. Your role offers the scope to gain exposure to the brand, digital, and wider teams withinCarpetright, providing a deep understanding of how your work contributes to Carpetright’s business objectives.
**_The Details._**
- Manage and deliver PPC and Paid social acquisition campaigns in line with team targets and KPI’s.
- Deliver clear and concise digital performance reports to the immediate and wider internal teams, with a particular focus on learnings and insights.
- Action day-to-day optimisations to maximise investment efficiency e.g. bid management/ modifiers, ad copies/ extensions, SQRs.
- Manage day-to-day contact with our feed management partner for Google Shopping to ensure we’re maximising it’s impact on Shopping campaign performance.
- Utilise performance reporting and market research tools to identify areas of risk and opportunity.
- Create and implement PPC and paid social assets in-line with our promotional calendar and in adherence to Carpetright brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager (brand) to ensure paid social is supporting Carpetright’s organic targets and objectives.
- Stay up to speed on the latest search marketing landscape and circulate developments that may impact Carpetright activities.
- Collaborate with digital team (website) to identify areas of risk and opportunity from CRO, SEO, UX analysis.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of digital media, and its role within the overall communications strategy and relation to offline media channels.
**About You**:
- _Strong understanding of Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Facebook Business Manager (essential)._
- _Experience of working with SA360, CM360, and Google Tag Manager (desirable)._
- _Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (essential)_
- _Experience working on digital video and digital audio campaigns (desirable). _
- _Experience working in Retail sector (preferable)_
- _Excellent internal and external communication skills._
- _Strong organisational and numerical skills._
- _The ability to work independently to complete tasks and objectives._
- _Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks at the same time._
- _Enthusiastic and ambitious approach._
**Measures of success**
- _Demonstrable increase in profit ROI from PPC and paid social investments due to attributable interventions._
- _Deliver weekly performance reporting pre-9.30 on Monday mornings._
- _Consistent and accurate implementation PPC and paid social ad copies in line with promotional planner._
