JOB TITLE: Credit Controller

LOCATION: Haywards Heath

HOURS: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day with flexibility

SHIFT: 8am - 6pm

SALARY: £30,000 - £34,000 p/a (depending on experience)

Office Angels are working closely with the Hiring Manager to onboard a Credit Controller to their small team in Haywards Heath. You will support the Financial Controller in managing the company's cash inflows particularly in the management of the sales ledgerassignment.

**Role Responsibility**:

- Working closely with customers and project managers to collect outstanding amounts on the Sales Ledger.
- Ensuring support is carried out to the PMO unit in the raising of sales invoices.
- Providing support in the query resolution on disputed invoices.
- Keeping thorough records of any credit control correspondence.
- Correspondence to customers in line with agreed credit control procedures.
- Assignment of all banking receipts and query resolution.
- Full resolution of the Sales Ledger using Sage and outstanding debtors in the company's software.
- Alerting the system of any un-matched receipts and carrying full investigation to resolve and allocate the receipt.
- Development of all internal management reporting and KPI's
- Managing financial training for Project Managers or internal staff on credit control processes.
- Support the management of the design, build and roll-out of suitable credit control policies and procedures
- Invoice discounting
- Identification of any financial risk, cash flow problems, financial contortion, process or procedure concerns or suggestions for how to improve.
- Able to support other members of the department as and when required.
- Completing timesheets
- Minimum 5 years Credit Control experience is essential.
- Advanced working knowledge of the Sage 50 system / Microsoft Excel.
- Proven experience of all accounting procedures i.e. all ledgers and bookkeeping.
- Being supportive of all business needs by performing all required administration in a professional and timely manner.
- A positive, performance driven and value focused attitude.
- Displaying a good work ethic and working consistently to a high standard.
- Loves to go above and beyond int their job role.
- Flexible on travel requirements for projects.
