This international professional services organisation based in central Guildford are looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their team. **Accounts Payable Supervisor
- About The Role**

In this role you will be working within an Accounts Payable team of 14 and will be responsible for supporting the AP team leaders with the daily running of the department. You will be required to train & recruit new staff and assist with the regular improvementof the internal systems. This role would be a great opportunity for someone who has aspirations to become an Accounts Payable Manager.

**Your key responsibilities will be**:

- Supervising and coordinating all work coming through the AP function and liaising with internal managers.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of financial policies, ensuring they remain current and relevant.
- Processing daily and weekly payments through internal systems.
- Checking invoices uploaded and approving them through the system.
- Investigating queries with various suppliers and distrubuting to the relevant contact.
- Assisting with project work from the finance team and providing regular updates.
- Responsible for staff recruitment within the AP team.

**The successful Accounts Payable Supervisor will have**:

- Previous experience in managing staff
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within Accounts Payable
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Strong IT skills
