An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Head of Engineering, based in Bedfordshire, to work for an Electronics Manufacturing Service provider.
The Head of Engineering, Bedfordshire, will be required to lead, develop and grow the technical team in line with business plans. Other responsibilities will include identifying, supporting, and embedding software tools and hardware options used to deliverdesigned functional test solutions, commissioning the latest printed circuit assembly and manufacturing process test systems and driving the direction and delivery of new services required by customers to support significant programs in Space, Defence andAerospace environments. These services will include hardware and software design and you will introduce these into our quality management systems taking lead responsibility for aerospace accreditation, along with supporting Business Development opportunities.You will work in close collaboration with BD colleagues on new business opportunities with current customers, with new customers, in new markets and in new services all as a key member of the senior leadership team delivering the business strategic plan.
The Head of Engineering, Bedfordshire, will have a demonstrable track record of leading a multi-disciplined technical team in an aerospace and defence environment. You will also have knowledge and experience of using tools such as National Instruments, AltiumSchematic capture and Aegis Factory Logix to deliver engineering solutions.
