Head of Value Creation, Contract

**Your role**:Head of Value Creation, Contract and Negotiation you will be responsible for contract coordination and establishing best practices around negotiations to deliver enhanced value propositions for both customer and the Global Strategic Account (GSA) Science and Lab Solutions Organisation. You will work in a matrix environment to develop expertise, establish a strategic network of support and best practices for global contract responses supporting Global Strategic Account (GSA) Directors, Finance, Legal, and regional support functions leading to an increased number of high-level strategic contracts to assigned accounts.

**Your key tasks include, but are not limited to**:

- Using value analysis model to advise the best pricing strategy of solution offers with a balance of creating value for our customers and maximizing profit for the GSA business in the long run.
- Contract (commercial) value propositions are developed at inception, support throughout the negotiation process and monitored throughout the term of the contract, ensuring contract delivers value for all parties.
- Support the demonstration and presentation of GSA programs and solutions drive value for both the customers and the GSA business to leadership during business reviews.
- Align with Marketing value creation strategies across the different sub-segments of the business and Portfolio, as well as supply chain and other relevant functions.
- Work closely with Controlling and Commercial Operations to develop matrix and solutions to capture and analyze profit and other key defined value indicators for the GSA commercial business.
- Develops tools to simplify and harmonize contracting processes

**Who you are**:

- Finance or Business diploma /degree, or equivalent. MBA is desirable.
- Proven Finance or Procurement, and Commercial experience, preferably in an international environment.
- Solid understanding of cashflow, profitability and financial impact from commercial decisions coupled with strong people management and presentation skills to influence decisions and proposals.
- Providing high Service levels and Customer satisfaction to all stakeholder both internally and externally
- Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate agreements internationally
- English (written and spoken) fluently; German language skills are considered advantageous but not required.
