**Day rate**: c£400 per day

**Length of contract**:c3 months

As the Interim Inbound Logistics Manager, you will be accountable for:

- Be the principal contact for all Primary and Non-primary hauliers.
- Work closely with the Planning and Commercial teams to manage the In-bound and Outbound Logistic function in the Supply Chain including peak planning.
- Provide concise analysis of plan vs. forecast and report monthly on agreed KPIs including availability, costs, service level, using global market data and customer account information to ensure it is relevant and current.
- Provide SLA's with internal and external stakeholders (haulage, warehousing and storage) to meet the objectives set out within the agreements.
- Lead the co-ordination and management of 3PL's for the Business, including storage and distribution.
- Use visual management techniques to monitor on going performance and improvement opportunities.
- Manage and improve the distribution KPI's - including pallet fill percentage, pallet fulfilment, accuracy of load plans, ASN's accuracy, customer query resolution, POD discrepancies, etc.
- Control, and understand Import regulations to ensure we are compliant.
- POD tracking and resolution - Liaise with finance and despatch teams to ensure that any POD challenges from customers are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Develop, monitor and enhance training matrices - all tasks must have a full set of SOPs' and a comprehensive training and scoring plan.

It is important you have led in the following areas:

- Data analytics
- Capacity planning
- Storage scheduling
- Work to demanding customer specifications
- Lean thinking and familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques
