Private Patient Co-ordinator Band 3 - 20 hours per week - WCH

The Trust provides a comprehensive range of general acute hospital services, as well as some private patients services.

The purpose of this role is to support the Private Patient Administrator in the day to day running of The Cumbrian Clinic including all secretarial duties.

The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination of private patient appointments within the Trust. This will involve liaising between patients and clinicians to book appointment, typing of clinic letters, maintaining records of all insurance claims, and assisting with patient and insurance company queries regarding all aspects of the appointments including the treatment costs. This role will ensure all activity is records on relevant Trust systems in line with national data standards.

This role is vital to support patient safety and Trust income.

**Disclosure and Barring Service**:

**Standard Check**: £18 + Administration cost of £3.85 = £21.85. Deducted at £6.85 from 1st month salary and £5 deducted from salary over following 3 months.

**Enhanced Check**: £38 + administration cost of £3.90 = £41.90. Deducted at £11.90 from 1st month salary and £10 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
