Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS) is the new brand of Magnox Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA). NRS is responsible for decommissioning first generation nuclear power stations Berkeley, Bradwell, Chapelcross, Dungeness A, Hinkley Point A, Hunterston A, Oldbury, Sizewell A, Trawsfynydd and Wylfa, and research sites Harwell and Winfrith. NRS is also responsible for electricity generation at hydroelectric plant Maentwrog. As a division of NRS, Dounreay is responsible for the clean-up and demolition of the former centre of fast reactor research and development. About the role **Hear from the Hiring Manager** - "We are seeking a skilled and proactive Business System Controller to work on a part time basis across all business systems with a specialism in Primavera (P6) Planning software. As the Business System Controller, you will be responsible for identifying, configuration, testing, maintenance of solutions to support the requirements of IT Operations and IT projects._ **Key Deliverables** - Good working knowledge of company key business systems (P6, ERP) and interfaces. - Monitor and maintenance of business systems health & housekeeping (P6, ERP), reporting solutions and other related systems including associated interfaces. - Manage the review and usage of Software Licences. - Maintaining system and company documentation related to business systems. - Support system upgrades, patches and maintenance activities ensuring mínimal disruption to the business, acting as the key point of contact in liaison with the system service providers. - Develop and run scripted system reports and process automation as appropriate. - Identifying, configuration, testing of solutions of P6, ERP to support the requirements of IT Operations and IT projects. - Execute system development roadmap in line with Simplification, IT strategy and the vendors roadmap, exploiting additional functionality. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify system improvement opportunities, propose enhancements, and implement changes to optimise workflows and streamline business processes. - Become a Subject Matter Expert for P6 software. - Support colleague’s learning and development through knowledge sharing, task instruction etc. - End User first line support and user access, second, third line support including liaising with software supplier. **Qualifications & Experience** - Degree / Professional qualification or equivalent experience (Essential) - Experience in day to day use and developing P6, ERP - Knowledge of Databases schema - SQL coding skills (Desirable) - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse and resolve complex issues. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels and provide clear technical explanations to non-technical users. - Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, and meet deadlines. - Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with emerging technologies, system enhancements, and industry trends. - Familiarity with relevant regulatory compliance standards, data protection regulations, and cybersecurity best practices **Benefits Package** - Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS) staff should refer to the document titled “Spot Point v Grade alignment” available on SharePoint for more information on how the grade structure aligns to Spot Points. - Flexible working - where possible. - Flexible benefits scheme - including cycle to work and reduced gym membership fees. - Participation in Company Bonus Scheme (up to £5,500 per annum based on corporate objectives). - Employee Assistance Programme including 24-hour telephone support & personal assistance service and access to an online wellbeing App. - Up to 13.5% employer pension contribution depending on individual contribution amount. - Access to training and development through the company performance management arrangements, supporting you in maintaining your personal Continuous Professional Development. - We have various different employee networks supporting our inclusion, diversity and wellbeing mission at Nuclear Restoration Servi
