Econ Engineering Limited are the UK's largest supplier of winter maintenance vehicles and are currently looking to recruit a permanent Hire Administrator for our busy hire and service centre at Sowerby, Thirsk. The successful applicant will work along-side the hire team and duties will include but not limited to:
- Admin tasks including filing, scanning and post.
- Working with service engineers to get job cards and timesheets, and obtaining
order numbers from customers.
- Inputting hire invoices and proforma invoices for chargeable jobs and repairs and
dealing with customer invoice queries.
- Liaise with the parts department about warranty costs and updating records.
- Telephone and reception duties.
- Printing calibration certificates/manuals/training packs
- Maintenance of in-house fleet system.
- Organise compliance documents to be sent to customers.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Great attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- Highly numerate with good written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to a strict deadline.
- A flexible and diverse working attitude.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- An interest or background in HGV/Fleet/Engineering would be an advantage.

Based at our new service centre in Thirsk, working Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 5.00pm and Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm, with an hour for lunch each day.

Competitive salary plus bonus and work place pension will be paid.
