We have the following permanent fulltime post:
**People Partner**

**37 hours per week**

**Salary range £34,750 to £40,900 per annum (dependent upon experience) **

**39 days annual leave (including Bank Holiday and Company days) 2 wellbeing days a year weekly exercise and wellbeing hours**

**This is a dual based role working from Lilleshall National Sports Centre, nr Newport, Shropshire (2 days a week) and working from home**

We believe gymnastics has the power to amaze like no other sport and we strive to help every gymnast experience this, amazing themselves and others along the way. As the UK’s national governing body for gymnastics, by working closely with our members and partners we aim to lead, support and inspire everyone in gymnastics to do amazing things.

We are looking for a People Partner to bring people expertise to support the organisation to deliver its strategy while enabling employees to grow and develop their skills and expertise. As our People Partner you will role model the organisation’s values, work in partnership with key stakeholders and HR colleagues to ensure successful delivery of HR plans and solutions. You will be the trusted partner for your areas of responsibility and will coach, advise and guide staff and managers providing high level pragmatic people management solutions.

**The Role**

The main responsibilities of the role are:

- Identifying and providing practice and proactive solutions to people-based issues that arise within your area of responsibility
- Support manager/team leaders with embedding a values led performance culture throughout the business; provide coaching and support on 1:1’s, and competency framework. Coach and build the capability of people managers to anticipate and manage people issues- Work proactively with managers to identify and resolve key drivers for absenteeism, turnover and poor performance- Advise and coach line managers in the effective resolution of employment relations issues especially in relation to preparation and management of disciplinary, grievance and capability related cases, considering and working within clearly defined policies and procedures, UK employment law, precedent, and potential impact / risk to the business.
**The Person**

Applicants will need to demonstrate:

- Previous experience working in a fast-paced HR service orientated function, with proven experience business partnering with areas of the organisation
- A thorough/up to date working knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice policies, procedures and contracts
- Excellent IT skills including experience of using a multitude of HR platforms/systems
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills, able to effectively analyse complex data
- The ability to work independently, coordinating and driving improvements to employee experience across areas
