Join us to help keep even more people and pets together when times are tough. For over a century, PDSA have provided vital veterinary care for the pets of people in financial hardship.

We’re now on a journey to expand our reach to support even more people and their beloved pets. To achieve this ambitious goal, we need passionate and driven individuals who are ready to embrace change and help shape a future-focused PDSA. Together, we'll build a stronger organisation to ensure our services help those who need us most for the next hundred years.

If you're ready to make a real difference and be part of a team that's creating positive change, we want you to join us. Let's build a brighter future for pets and their owners, together.

As Business Support Partner role, you will:

- Operational Oversight & Strategic Support - Act as a business partner to the Director and senior leadership team, ensuring strategic priorities are delivered efficiently and proactively addressing operational challenges.
- Governance & Compliance Management - Coordinate governance processes, support policy register updates, oversee audit schedules, and ensure adherence to compliance requirements, escalating non-compliance when necessary.
- Tracking & Reporting - Develop and maintain tracking mechanisms for key deliverables (e.g., risk registers, reports, policy updates), ensuring progress is monitored and risks are flagged for timely resolution.
- Stakeholder Communication & Coordination - Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency, accountability, and timely follow-up on key actions.
- Process Improvement & Efficiency - Identify operational inefficiencies, develop solutions, and work with stakeholders to implement process improvements to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Business Continuity & Risk Management - Support Heads of Departments in maintaining and updating business continuity plans to ensure organisational resilience and alignment with strategic objectives.

We’re seeking someone with:

- Business Support & Coordination Experience - Proven background in business support, partnering, or governance roles with the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong Organisational & Tracking Skills - Experience in maintaining documentation, tracking actions, and ensuring timely completion of strategic and operational tasks.
- Stakeholder Management & Influencing - Ability to engage effectively with senior leaders, department heads, and external partners, influencing decision-making and driving action where needed.
- Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement - A proactive mindset with analytical skills to identify process gaps, implement improvements, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Governance & Compliance Knowledge - Understanding of governance frameworks, compliance processes, and risk management to ensure regulatory adherence and operational effectiveness.
- Technical Proficiency - Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and other document management tools, enabling efficient reporting, tracking, and data analysis.

Why Join Us?

At PDSA, we care for both pets and people. As part of our team, you will enjoy a supportive, flexible working environment, along with a range of great benefits designed to make you feel valued:
