MWH Treatment is looking to strengthen their Finance team with a Finance Assistant for our CMDP joint venture framework. Based from our office in Falmer, you will be assisting the finance team with day to day activities.

CMDP is a joint venture between MWH Treatment and Costain and will deliver a range of schemes to maintain and improve Southern Water’s water supply and wastewater treatment works in the eastern half of its region (Kent & East Sussex).
- To assist the Accounts function with site accounts tasks as required, to ensure accurate & timely records.
- Goods receipting
- Primary liaison with procurement to ensure timely close out of completed purchase orders.
- Maintenance of new starters/leavers on IFS
- Timesheet support for JV.
- Assist with close out of completed projects on IFS.
- Purchase Ledger
- Transaction processing for Plant & Material Invoices in accordance with relevant procedures
- Recording, processing and investigating invoice queries and ensuring timely resolution
- Communicate with Site team, suppliers & other external parties
- Liaise closely with the site Stores function, project & commercial teams as required.
- Inputting Cost Journals in line with relevant procedures with appropriate approval and communication
- Assist Accounting team with Month End processes, ensuring accurate recording of costs
- Assisting in Accruals process for Materials and Plant in a timely manner
- Process allocated Staff Expenses in accordance with Company policies
- Support Finance Team with other tasks when required.
