We are looking for positive, caring, and motivated individuals to join one of our teams covering both Liverpool City Region and Warrington. Supporting homes across Halewood, Widnes, St Helen's, Rixton, Stockton Heath, Winwick, Lymm and Sankey as a Waking Nights Supervisor.

Our Waking Night Supervisors are expected to acheive the highest standards of care for the young people and adults we support, work well within a team, and comply with all recording systems completing all records to the required standard.

**What will the job be like?**

Bright Futures Care is a specialist company supporting young people and adults with autism and learning difficulties.

As a Waking Nights Supervisor, you will provide the highest standards of care for our young people throughout the night, understand their care needs, and support and engage with them. The role will also include the supervision of other Waking Night Support Workers, and therefore, one shift a week you will be required to travel to the other homes in the region to formally supervise Waking Night Support Workers.

The role requires that you undertake a high level of lone working, where you will be responsible for meeting the support needs of the adults or young people throughout the night, and where you will be expected to show judgement and intiative at a level that is commensurate with this expectation. The role will also include diligent completion of recording and monitoring records. All homes will have sleep in staff that can be called on for additional support if required.

You will spend a short time during your induction getting to know the team and people we support during daytime hours before undertaking your role.

**What we can offer you**

Hourly rate of PS14.19 per hour, shift length 10 hours

Hours are worked in a 2-week pattern of 4 shifts week one and 3 shifts week two, between the hours of 10 pm & 8 am, or there are overtime opportunities if required.

**To be considered for this role you will**

Have demonstrable experience as a Support Worker/Waking Nights Support Worker within the Care Sector

Have great values and a passion for providing great care.

Be approachable, friendly, proactive, and engaging.

**Requirements**:
Bright Futures commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and our requirement for the successful applicant would be to undertake enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check where appropriate.

Driving License is essential.

Flexibility to meet business needs.

Able to complete waking nights on a shift basis which will include weekends and bank holidays.
