A global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of specialist marine exploration equipment, are looking to hire an experienced R&D Electronics Design Engineer as part of their continued growth.

As the Electronics Design Engineer, you'll be involved in the design of new and existing equipment and machinery, from concept through to manufacture - including circuit simulation and PCB design.

Responsibilities will include:

- Component selection, circuit simulation and PCB design.
- Testing of components and prototypes, PCB assemblies etc.
- Generation of build documentation and procedures.
- Working closely with R&D engineers, to interface with other engineering disciplines.
- Development and introduction of new technologies and advancements.
- Ensuring high standards of product safety, functionality & reliability.
- Experience in electronic engineering design
- Knowledge of technical product design & manufacture processes
- Knowledge in electronics, with good awareness of electrical, mechanical, software/firmware
- Engineering qualification (ideally to degree level) or equivalent experience
