Job title: Locomotive Fitters - (all Mechanical backgrounds considered)
Job location: Sandiacre - Nottingham.

**Salary**:£40,500 per annum.
Shifts: Mornings, afternoons, nights and occasional weekends) - Many additional hours available if wanted.
Hours per week: 42-hour week plus overtime (most averaging about 48 per week).
Duration: Permanent (contract roles may also be available if preferred)
Start date: Immediate

(Salary of £40,528. £30,299.00 + shift allowance of £3,429.00 for a basic 35 hour week. As the teams all work a min of 42 hours per week this equates to an additional £6,800.00)

A Market Leader in Logistics/Rail Freight, Maintenance and Repair
Position Summary:
We are looking to add some additional support within our Depot in Sandiacre, Nottinghamshire and are looking to engage 12 new Locomotive Fitters ideally to commence work with immediate effect.
Person Profile/Experience:
A skilled Technician/Mechanic and ideally time served, ideally you will have previous experience of undertaking maintenance, service and repair work on Diesel and/or Electric Locomotives, ideally on the underframes, bogies and wheelsets. You will have the abilityto make sound engineering decisions and will have good communication skills, written and oral.
We will also consider people who have not come through a rolling stock background if they have heavy maintenance experience in plant, buses, HGV etc.
The job:
Maintain, service, fault find and repair Locomotives in accordance with the approved maintenance plans as required by the local manager Ensure all relevant paperwork for examinations and repairs is correctly completed on time and to required company standards
Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 in an Electrical/mechanical fitting skill set ideal
