Kitchen Porter

The Church Green is seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team

As a kitchen porter you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, supporting our chefs and ensuring the smooth opeartion of our culinary services.

**Responsibilities**
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils and workstations
- Assist with food preparation, such as washing and chopping vegetables.
- Maintain organization and storage of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Ensure efficient disposal of food waste and recyclables.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve high-quality culinary standards.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment (preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitization practices
- Team oriented and willing to support colleagues.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £8.12-£11.00 per hour
