**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced culinary environment.

A Kitchen Porter (Potwash) is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Their primary duties involve cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, including pots, pans, utensils, and surfaces, as well as managing storage, food preparation areas, and waste disposal. They may also assist with food preparation and deliveries. Key Duties:

- **Cleaning**: Washing pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment, both manually and with dishwashers.
- **Maintaining Cleanliness**: Ensuring the kitchen and food preparation areas are clean and tidy at all times.
- **Storage**: Managing food storage areas, including fridges and freezers, and ensuring proper inventory.
- **Waste Disposal**: Emptying and disposing of waste, including food waste, cardboard, and other rubbish.
- **Food Preparation Assistance**: Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
- **Delivery Management**: Checking, recording, and storing food deliveries.
- **Temperature Monitoring**: Checking and recording temperatures in fridges and freezers.
- **Reporting**: Reporting any accidents, fires, or damage.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
