Personal Care Assistant

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care assistance to clients in their homes or assisted living facilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices and techniques
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry
- Provide companionship and engage in conversation with clients
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes or facilities

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of basic personal care techniques and procedures
- Understanding of safety precautions when assisting clients with mobility or transfers
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client's privacy
- Patience and empathy when working with individuals who may have physical or cognitive limitations
- Good time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed within designated timeframes

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-40 per week

**Salary**: £11.00-£11.40 per hour
