**Overall Job Purpose**:
Deliver HR and payroll processing in a growing multi-academy trust, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of a professional HR function day to day.

Support the HR & Payroll Manager (HRPM) and Trust Finance Manager (TFM) in providing a service to schools and colleagues within the Trust that contributes to a smooth and seamless onboarding and employee lifecycle experience and delivering all complianceaspects of the process.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
**HR**
- Deliver the smooth running of the recruitment process, including posting all vacancies on the HRMS (HR Management System) and placing all adverts with relevant outlets.
- Administration of pre-employment checks and onboarding for new employees, including ensuring our HRMS is populated with all documentation required for Single Central Record and employment legislation compliance.
- Arranging and supporting assessment and interviews for vacancies within the Central Team of the Trust.
- Building good relationships with all employees (prospective and current) and managers, to provide a proactive and supportive HR function as part of the central HR Team.
- Provide guidance and advice to managers and employees on how to use our HRMS, escalating as appropriate.
- General HR administration in support of the HRPM including preparation of information for periodic internal and external reports and submissions required.
- Transactional administration on the entire lifecycle of an employee including contract variations; maternity/ paternity & shared parental leave; sickness and other absence procedures and processing of leavers and retirees.

**Payroll & Pensions**
- Update the Trust’s payroll feeder database with all changes impacting payroll and provide the TFM will a full set of supporting authorisations for all changes for the monthly payroll deadline.
- Provision of relevant monthly payroll information to Head Teachers PAs for formal acknowledgement by Head Teachers to inform payroll.
- General payroll and pensions administration in support of the TFM including preparation of information for monthly and annual reports and submissions to relevant external organisations.
- Compilation of variance analysis of payroll changes in the month.
