**Location: Reading (Hybrid working)**
**Salary: £40,000-£46,000 plus bonus and other company benefits**

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Within the marketing services framework, shape the Marketing Strategy and own the overarching Marketing Activity Plan across Northgate, Van Monster and Blakedale brands.
- Define and create a suite of strategic sales enablement tools to support the sales team, utilising new technologies to adapt to change in sales journeys
- Development and delivery of Marketing Plan Activities across communications channels to support lead generation, engagement and retention, delivering on time and within budget
- Bring new products and services to market for our customers through development and delivery of online and offline activity to support business objectives
- Work closely with Product and Sales colleagues to ensure alignment of other business area goals to the Marketing Strategy
- Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to; act as a brand guardian within the organisation
- Closely monitor market insights and customer needs of the target market and identify/act upon opportunities
- Manage relevant internal stakeholder communications
- Manage external supplier relationships to ensure maximum value achieved, with specific responsibility for creative agencies
- Ensure all marketing spend is forecast, managed and controlled within agreed marketing budgets
- Ensure adherence to current legislation on data protection and TPS
- Nurture and develop the two Marketing Executives and the Content, Social and Experiential Executive, all of whom are direct reports.

**About you**
- At least 6 years’ experience in Marketing and two years in a similar role
- Broad experience across the marketing mix
- Experience managing direct reports
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong literacy and creative writing skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, quality and consistency
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrable experience managing stakeholders
- Comfortable working to deadlines in fast-paced, dynamic and corporate environment
- Excellent IT skills
- Digital or CIM Marketing qualification or experience desirable but not essential
- Experience in vehicle and/or branch-based retail and large B2B sales-focused business highly desirable, but not essential
