**Head of Finance**
As Head of Finance for OrderWise, you will be managing a finance team of 3 people. You’ll report directly to the Regional Finance Director for Forterro Northern Europe, as well as working closely together with the local OrderWise leadership team.
You will be responsible for ensuring timely and high-quality monthly reporting according to Group financial reporting deadlines, as well as working closely together with the Regional Finance Director and local leadership team with FP&A related activities. A focus for the role will also be to drive improvements in all financial processes within the business.

APPLY NOW**Key responsibilities**
Accounts
- Perform month end / year end accounting processes
- Calculate and post deferred income on a monthly basis
- Provide cash flow forecasts
- Provide and manage aged debtors and aged creditors
- Provide weekly MTD values for all revenue streams
- Provide management with monthly P&L analysis and KPIs
- VAT returns and VAT reconciliation
- Submit Corporation Tax payments for authorisation
- Manage grant payments and R&D Tax Credits
- Manage company car and pool car fleet
- Production of financial reports
- Liaise with external accountants and auditors as required
- Provide information for VAT and PAYE inspections
- Manage foreign currency transactions
- Identify and mitigate financial risk.
- Improve and document the processes in the finance department
**Knowledge & skills**
- Experience to a similar level with a proven time served track record.
- Professional certification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualifications/Accounts Degree) is preferred
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability able to understand detailed data and analysis and translate to key messages to non-finance leaders
- A well organised team player, with ability to work on own initiative and as part of the team
- Ability to learn quickly and accurately, with an ingrained attention to detail
- Proficient working with the Microsoft 365 suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Effective communication skills and confident in presenting financial information to senior management
- Be able to provide two references, one of which must be from your previous employer

**Salary**: Competitive - Dependent On Experience
**Hours**: 40hrs p/wk (8:45am - 5:15pm, Mon. to Fri.)
