**Senior Administrator - Stonecross**
J Murphy and Sons Ltd are currently recruiting for a Senior Administrator to join our award-winning team. Our team is known for its extensive in-house expertise and continual drive to innovate within the industry. The Senior Administrator will provide high quality general administrative support to the Energy leadership team.
Following the ‘One Murphy’ approach, we’re able to deliver all aspects of the projects we work on. J. Murphy & Sons has designed, constructed, and commissioned projects for clients such as National Grid, SSE and Ørsted, on both transmission and distribution networks within the Energy sector.
**What you will be doing**:
- Uphold confidentiality principles in handling and reviewing sensitive materials
- Resolve internal and external stakeholder queries, referring those that you are unable to resolve to the correct recipient
- Provide a high-quality customer service in telephone and face to face communication
- Maintain accurate paper and computer-based records & systems
- Provide routine and ad hoc management information to inform decision making
- Produce correspondence, documents and presentations to specification using a variety of media
- Maintain diaries & appointments for the booking of work location resources, for example, meeting rooms and projectors etc. for members of the team.
- Coordinate customer meetings for leadership team, when requested
- Support leadership team logistics - accommodation & travel requirements, when requested.
- Provide administration support in leadership team meetings, organisation meeting rooms, taking minutes of meeting, and ensuring actions recorded when required
- Order and maintain stationery and equipment supplies
- Work in accordance with established processes and provide feedback on their effectiveness.
**Who are we looking for?**
- Successful experience of working in an Administrative, Executive Assistant or Secretarial role and environment.
- Previous experience within a Civil Engineering or Construction environment would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of operating office equipment and IT, e.g. telephone, computer with standard software, fax, copier, printers etc., to access, input and verify information.
- MS package knowledge (e.g.Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project)
- Excellent customer service skills, positive approach to your work with a can-do attitude
