**Join our Care team as a Health Care Assistant**
Baycroft Great Baddow is an elegant 64- bed Care Home offering residential, nursing and dementia care near Chelmsford in Essex. Our residents are at the heart of everything we do, and we would like talented people to join our team to share in this vision.

**The role**
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of a Care Assistant in Great Baddow. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting our residents with their daily personal care needs whilst promoting their dignity and individuality.
- Working as part of a strong, talented team.
- Helping our residents with their hygiene, mobility, and physical comfort.
- Reporting to our dedicated nursing team regarding any illness, accident or event incurred by our residents, colleagues, or visitors.
- Undertaking observations of our residents and documenting this as necessary in their care plans.
- Having a positive and friendly disposition.
- Offering ongoing comfort to our residents who may be ill or requiring care at the end of their life, whilst making sure that their religious or cultural needs are fulfilled.

**Salary**: £10.90 per hour including £1.10 per hour market supplement
Working hours: Full-time & Part-time Roles available (Day or Night shifts) 36 hours over 7-day rota
- day/night shifts available 08:00-20:00/20:00-08:00
(Required to work every other weekend - 2 week rolling rota)
**What you will need to succeed**
- Share in our values with a genuine interest in caring for vulnerable residents.
- Have a personal or professional experience in caring for others.
- Be eager and willing to undertake further training.
- Have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care (desirable).
