Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a **Senior Care Assistant **to work **Part Time **in a residential care home based in Great Baddow, Chelmsford Essex

The salary package of up to £26,422.50

37.5 Hours per week.

This company is a not-for-profit organisation that provides high-quality housing, care, and support services to people who need it most. They are committed to improving the lives of our residents and service users, and we are looking for a Senior Care Assistant Nights to join their team.

**Responsibilities**:

- To provide high quality person-centred care and support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans
- To lead a team of care assistants and ensure that care is delivered in a professional and compassionate manner
- To assist residents with activities of daily living, such as personal care, mobility, and social activities
- To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care delivered and report any changes in residents' health or wellbeing
- To administer medication in accordance with residents' care plans and ensure that medication records are accurate and up to date
- To liaise with healthcare professionals, families and other members of the care team to ensure that the best possible care is provided to residents

**Requirements**:

- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- At least 2 years' experience in a care setting, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to lead a team and delegate tasks effectively
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational and time management skills
- A caring and compassionate nature
- Flexibility to work nights
