Are you passionate about supporting students and removing financial barriers to education? We are looking for a **Student Finance Support Officer** to join our team at South Tyneside College.

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Award bursary and other financial support based on eligibility.
- Provide advice and guidance to students on available financial support.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with audit requirements.
- Promote awareness of bursary funds to staff and students.
- Monitor student attendance in line with funding requirements.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Experience in an administrative role and excellent customer service skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office packages.
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and respond quickly to changing requirements.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.
- A team player who can use their initiative.

**Desirable**:

- Experience with student bursary funds and MI systems.
- NVQ Level 2 or above in Business Administration (or equivalent).
