**HR Manager**
**BASED: Leighton Buzzard, with provision for some home working and travel to sites required.**
**SALARY: Competitive dependent upon experience**
**HOURS: 37.5 Per Week, Monday - Friday, some flexibility required**
**MUST BE CIPD LEVEL 7**
- You must be able to build strong, lasting relationships with stakeholders.
- Possess a commercially minded approach with an ability to identify effective people solutions that meet business objectives.
- Ensure the organization complies with legislative and contractual requirements in relation to the employment of people.
- Line Manage a small team of HR professionals
- Data-rational and analytical, you will use business intelligence and metrics to introduce innovative, agile ideas to our business.
- You seek knowledge of every part of the business - you get under the skin of the business and recognise the pulse of the business, leading by example and setting high standards.
- You should have an up-to-date working knowledge of current employment law and preferably be a Chartered member of CIPD or equivalent.
- You should be equally at home with BAU activities and taking on HR projects.
**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**
- Develop, deliver, monitor and review key HR solutions in support of strategic goals and improving organisational performance.
- To develop and deliver key HR initiatives and projects utilising project management techniques and providing key management information on progress.
- Manage, deliver and support HR initiatives within the business which contribute to achieving excellence in delivery of programme and business targets.
- Identify and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in the community, resulting in flexible and innovative solutions to challenges arising from change management programmes.
- Ensure timely and effective delivery of HR services to businesses offices either personally or through others (e.g. HR Admin team)
- Coach, advise and develop managers in liaison with HR specialists as required, in the implementation of robust change management, performance management and employee relations processes and facilitate timely delivery and evaluation of appropriate activities/solutionswhich ensure that individual business needs are met.
- Provide input and feedback to measure the success of HR solutions and objectives in contributing to the individual business effectiveness, efficiency and attainment of overall objectives, including employee satisfaction and culture change
**Key Skills/Experience/Requirements**:
- Minimum MCIPD and evidence of continuing professional development.
- Significant IR/ER experience in multi-site environments with union experience preferred.
- Breadth of knowledge and business acumen typically gained through 2 years working at HRM level.
- Proven track record of managing and co-ordinating projects.
- Experienced in delivery of HR solutions to support organisational change and the delivery of tailor made innovative solutions.
- Experience in a people management role (e.g. Team leader or managerial role) and matrix management working across a range of disciplines.
- Relevant depth and breadth Technical and Profession HR knowledge, including employment legislation, consultancy tools and techniques.
- Experience of working with senior business leaders and employee representatives during change management programmes
- Experience of Diversity and Inclusion best practice
- Proficient in Word, Excel and internet.
