**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Support the Accounts Manager in all aspects of the accounts function
- Manage Accounts Clerks effectively to assist in achieving deadlines and KPI’s
- Production of Management Accounts in a timely manner
- Produce reports including debtor reports and credit control management
- Production of daily cashflow and reporting to Accounts Manager and business Directors
- Creating, processing and authorising a variety of payments using online banking system
- Bank Reconciliations
- Posting of bank items to the sales and nominal ledger
- Ensuring all invoices are received and processed on a timely basis in line with key deadlines.
- Coding and authorising purchase invoices
- VAT Returns and reconciliation
- Preparing and Processing Journals
- Preparation of Monthly Payroll
- Assist in preparation of annual Financial Plan
- Control of spend on Finance credit card
- Deal with complex supplier/customer queries
- Reconciliation of staff expenses
- Any other reasonably requested task not listed above

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Knowledge of Accounts/Finance
- Deadline orientated
- Accuracy of work
- Excellent IT skills and in particular thorough knowledge of Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under high pressure with accuracy
- The skills and desire to drive improvement in systems and processes
- Work independently in a busy active environment managing workflow and own time

**Health and Safety**
- Ensure compliance with company’s HSE policies and procedures
- Challenge any member of staff or visitor professionally when H&S controls are not being adhered

**Quality Assurance and Product Security**
- Ensure compliance with ISO procedures

**Responsible to - **Accounts Manager

**Liase with**:

- Internally - All departments as required

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
