Job title: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Responsible to: Transactional Finance Manager - UMO

Department: UMO Central Finance

Location of work: 4 Pancras Square, Kings Cross

The A Side: A Day in The Life

To assist the Credit Control and Billing (OTC) functions and offshore team, ensuring the day-to-day processes & controls are maintained.

The B Side: Skills & Experience

Be financial:

- Ensure prompt collection and management of company’s debt.
- Oversee billing processes companywide driving control, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Monitor and manage credit limits and risk across the business.

Be collaborative:

- Be the first point of contact for all Universal Music business units, establishing good communication with the key stakeholders, managing relationships both internally and externally.
- Ensure that we deliver the highest possible service to our customers.

Be analytical:

- Help to maximise customer facing systems to enable efficient and financially robust processes and controls.
- Assist with Internal and External Audit preparation throughout the year

Person Specification
- A “people person” with a “can do” attitude and keen to learn.
- Good organisational and communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a similar role or within the wider finance function an advantage.
- Previous experience with SAP, SAP Business Object Analysis for Office an advantage, but not essential.
- Basic to medium knowledge of excel
- Genuine interest in systems and system improvements
