About the role

Our Marketing team is seeking a Paid Search Specialist to join their growing team. This is one of our most prominent new client acquisition channels and we need a passionate, enthusiastic, and committed specialist to take ownership of this and help us reach the next level.

As a Paid Search Specialist, you will work with the Biddable Media Manager and Paid Search Lead to identify, recommend, challenge, and implement market leading commercial performance. This will ensure we accelerate our new client growth and will hit the Marketing department's challenging targets from our multi-million-pound paid search campaigns. This is a great opportunity to work in an exciting area which is responsive to the market.

What you’ll be doing- Management and optimisation of multi-million-pound paid search campaigns to accelerate cost effective new client growth- Build relationships with key external partners such as Google and Microsoft to improve the new client experience and ensure we take advantage of all competitive opportunities in the industry- Proactively taking the lead on driving strategic direction of the channel by identifying, recommending, and testing latest platform updates, technologies especially around automation, ads and landing pages to ensure we are driving the highest conversion rate to deliver new client growth- Detailed analysis of Adobe analytics data and working with the client insight team to identify trends and insights which lead to campaign optimisations- Drive the creative strategy, including copywriting for paid search to continuously improve quality score, click-through-rate and conversion rate from campaigns- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the company to influence strategy of future campaigns, communicate results and share ideas- Good knowledge of other biddable channels, including app, and an appetite to get involved in wider channel activity- Closely monitor competitor activity to stay up to date with industry trends

About you- Experience of managing significant budgets on paid search accounts- Ability to turn data into insight, using web analytics- Being proactive to turn that insight into action to deliver against KPIs- Demonstrable stakeholder management experience, skilled at forging relationships at all levels- An effective and engaging communicator, able to present complex information in simple context, adapting your style to suit your audience- Inclusive attitude to ensure we generate the best possible range of diverse ideas from the teams we work with across marketing- Google ads and Microsoft ads accredited an advantage- Passionate about keeping up to date with the latest industry trends, including with Pay Per Click and Search Engine Marketing.

Interview process

This will be a two-stage interview process, including competency-based questions and a presentation.

Working Schedule

The role is based in our Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have returned to the office, however for this role we offer a hybrid flexible working pattern of 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home.
