**Job Purpose**
The Salesforce Administrator will play a key role in implementing and managing UKRI’s CRM to a user base of circa 1000 internal users. This is an exciting opportunity for the role holder to be an early member of an in-house Salesforce team as the organisation adopts the platform with the challenges that go with user adoption and bedding in a new service.
As a Salesforce Administrator, you will help the business adopt the platform, and work closely with the product owner to help mentor users in how to get the best user experience from it. You will become the internal Subject Matter Expert for Salesforce users across UKRI.
You will also be involved in managing support requests and escalated administrative needs of users by providing prompt and complete resolution to technical challenges and business support issues.
You will bring knowledge and experience of what makes a Salesforce project successful, advising on quality solution configuration and implementing cutting edge design.
**Key areas of accountability**
**Salesforce user engagement**
- You will be accountable for ensuring that all users receive a positive user experience from using the service, working closely with the CRM product owner and the project team until the service transitions to business as usual.
- You will actively participate discovery and design workshops to identify client requirements and design user journeys in Salesforce to meet those needs.
- Run end user training and other user adoption activities
**User permissions**
- You will be accountable for setting up users in Salesforce with the correct environments and user permissions. They will engage with users with the goal of ensuring that a users first experience of using the service is positive.
**Shortlisting criteria**
- Proven experience of Salesforce administration and configuration on both SalesCloud and ServiceCloud
- Comprehensive experience configuring Salesforce including Workflows, validation rules, Lightning Flow, Process builder, roles, public groups, profiles, reports, dashboards and Change sets
- Certified Salesforce Administrator preferred
- Working knowledge or experience of structured project methodologies including Scrum based practices.

Skills needed for this role level:
- **Communication**. You can communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. You can support and host discussions within a multidisciplinary team, with potentially difficult dynamics. You can be an advocate for the team externally, and can manage differing perspectives.
- **Salesforce Administration**. You can configure functionality in Salesforce to deliver effective business solutions. You have experience in developing user stories and process flows to upport the development of Salesforce solutions. You have experience of implementing and working with SalesCloud, ServiceCloud and ideally Community Cloud in a corporate function
- **Data management**. You can understand data governance and how it works in relation to other organisational governance structures. You can participate in or deliver the assurance of a service.
- **Data quality assurance, validation and linkage.** You can identify appropriate ways to collect, collate and prepare data. You can decide if data is accurate and fit for purpose. You can prepare and cleanse data with limited guidance. (Skill level: working)
- **Data visualisation. **You can use the most appropriate medium to visualise data to tell compelling stories that are relevant to business goals and can be acted upon. You can present, communicate and disseminate data appropriately and with influence. (Skill level: working)
- **Logical and creative thinking**. You can respond to problems in databases, data processes, data products and services as they occur. You can initiate actions, monitor services and identify trends to resolve problems. You can determine the appropriate remedy and assist with its implementation, and with preventative measures.
